Hello fellow scrappers!
Hope those of you who attended Creativation had a blast!
Today I'm here with the first of my inspirational mixed media canvases!
This is my brothers niece, Gabi,
doing her impression of surf boarding antics!
I used Prima -Deep waters paint, watered down
and poured onto the canvas. To create the darker areas I re-did it.
I then mixed sand into heavy gesso to create my white sand.
Adding small art stones and netting.
I coloured my gauze with Nuvo-Turkish Rose
and spraying water to get it lighter in areas.
I also added a few drips onto the canvas, with the blue and pink.
For the drift wood chippie I painted brown.
For the shell chippies, I first painted white then
added a bit of brown and gold embossing paste.
The title I mixed the blue with some green
until I got my desired colour.
Then layered and assembled, adding glass stones
and a real Starfish to complete the canvas!

So this is my second impression of this months mood board, not intricate but simple and effective.
My Kids when they were young!!
Using Penelope Dee papers from the Paradise Collection.
I started with spaying Nuvo-Nebula blue onto a wet wipe and wiping over areas on my back ground page.
I added white netting, tore my blue page and added the cut off strip.
Attached to the back ground raising it!
I cut my photos into different size circles and sanded the edges.
For the sand dollar and bubble chippies,
once again I painted white first, then dusty-Capri green, adding Prima blue and touching up with white paint.
For the Title, I cut it in half and painting Prima-deep waters-blue and then spraying Nuvo-Nebula Blue.
I included drops of Nuvo-Turkish Rose.
Attaching and layering
then adding Prima- medium and small art stones.
as well as metal starfish charms.
Completing the layout with Flowers.
