Goodmorning lovelies,
Don't you just love creating with your Dusty Attic chippies & 49 and Market products? Well me I am totally hooked it feels like I am in chipboard/flower heaven every time I create with these amazing chippies and flowers and it is so easy to make a great layout. For this layout I used only three sheets, one from "Vintage Artistry" and two sheets from the stunning new "Cottage Life" collection. This time I went for the red color in this collection since I already used the green/blue and pink colors several times. The Dusty Attic designed some new chippies that totally fits this new collection and what is great about that too, that they have them in black yeahhh. My favorite colors of the flowers by 49 and Market are the Aloe, Mojito and the white ones too, I always seem to take those out of my flower basket.
Fresh Air:
I really enjoy all the elements on the cut out sheet has but also the layered embellishments are a delight and so easy to just peel it off and add to your work. The background sheet was treated with clear gesso before I added all my embellishments, paste, stamps, ink and ink sprays. I pricked holes in the outer lines of my paper and just went over it with a bonefolder then I added some timber brown stazon ink with a blending tool.
Then I took out my white ink and some of the text stamps by 49 and Market and stamped around the edges it took adges to dry tho so that was not great because on some placed it smeared. After that I used a Dusty Attic stencil with the text and added paste to my layout. The next thing I always do is to take out my chipbaord pieces that I like to use on a particular layout and treat them with white gesso before I treat them with any other medium.
The other mediums I treated my chipboard pieces with this time are rust paste by finnabair and also the waxes in the colors Fire Ruby & Bronze Age. But the easy part are the word strips and word tab on my work they did not have to be treated at all and you can just add them to your work. In the new flower pack there are such gorgeous leaves that I had to use them on my work. I am a real sucker for the vines that 49 and Market offers here I used the white one.

This is not a colour I have ever used, 1 of 3 .... But this is Gorgeous I think the white ink you have used has really softened the red. You have lots of things going on but it looks so beautifully clean and the drapping fonds you have turned green just perfect. I just wish I still had my laptop so I could really enjoy your Beautiful page more. Thankyou for sharing with us...❤💚😍
