Hello Dear Blogger friends...
I know...have not blogged and shared for ages!!! But today I am back with a very special project, a canvas created as my Dusty Attic monthly project. I used some of the new designs added to the Dusty Shop...I used the Doily # 9 and the Paint Brushes # 2.
To get some awesome textures on the Burlap canvas, I used Pumice Stone Effect Pastes and Art stones from Prima. Also used Rust and Patina Pastes...
I wanted lots of dimension of my Chipboard, therefor my old and trusted technique of wetting and separating the layers was used again. After drying and Gesso'ing the wings, I used Metallique Waxes , Rose Gold and White Gold on them. I used several colours of Distress Oxide's to paint my Paint Brushes and the Doily. I used Broken China, Fired Brick, Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo.
Using the pastes to get a weathered and used effect on the brushes...
