I Loved This - Patricia Basson

Hello Scrappy friends...
Today I share with you a very special photo. This is me and my dear on-line friend Lisa-Marie Watling. We have known each other a few years already and only got to meet last year at the Finnabair workshop in Jeffreys'bay...
What a meeting that was...I can not even remember if either of us said a word, I can just remember tight bear hugs and flippen tears!!! For a tiny little person Lisa-Marie sure has the most awesome hugs...I will treasure those moments forever, really hoping that it might be possible to spend time with my little soul-sister sometime in future again.

Here I used the Swirly Frame. I cut it in half and used it to frame my photo. All my chip-board was first gesso'd and painted with Oak Leaf Olive Mica's from Lindy's Stampgang. On the frame I did some random embossing with Aged Green Embossing Enamel from Stampendous.

I added some drops of Glossy Accents on the Feather, and somehow must have pressed on the one resulting in a more Matt finish...liking it more I then went ahead and tried to Matt all the other drops as well...Once again a Happy mishap..
I also used two stencils from the Dusty Attic shop. I used the Cross-hatched one with some brown Distress Ink and Copper Crackle Texture Paste with the Bedazzled Stencil.

Different layers with papers, resist canvas, canvas and Tokreene'd gauss. The colour is from LSG Moonshadow Mist, Ethernal Emerald. My favourite Prills are A Penny Saved.

The title is very apt for this special photo!!! It was just Gesso'd and inked a little.

Both layers of the Layered Accent were painted with the LSG Mica, with the bottom one getting a swipe with the brown Distress Ink.

I created the border with several Tissue Tapes, Brown Distress Ink and water droplets.

Thank you for taking the time to visit me...

Flatter me, and I may not believe you.
Criticize me, and I may not like you.
Ignore me, and I may not forgive you.
Encourage me, and I will not forget you.
Love me and I may be forced to love you.
