Love Completly - Joanne Bain

Howdy Peeps!!

I am super excited to be sharing my very first page as an official Dusty Attic designer. I am so looking forward to the year ahead with this amazing team.

But first Dusty Attic are having a 20% off all orders for the month of January at the check out use the promo code - happy2015. Why not go visit and stock up bigtime!!

I have been playing around alot with mixed media of late and I now think I can say I am on my way to a style I love, a bit arty, clean but still has my love of dimension. Dusty Attic chipboard makes it so easy for me.

"Love Completely"

Chipboard combined with flowers, paint, ink, rhinestones and a gorgeous photo have made my creation come to life.

To create the branch cluster I have 2 different sets of branches for added interest and 2 cute little seagulls. I have topped the branch cluster with my page title. All chipboard has been covered with texture paste to add extra texture and added interest to the page. I like that it allows uneven toning of the paint.

Behind the photo I have tucked elegant swirls and the centre string from the Dreamcatcher #1. I then added a little sprinkling of flying seagulls...which I love.

I like to have a washed type of background and the Dusty In Colour paints work fantastically for this, I simply squeeze out a little onto my tray add lots water and then you have the perfect mix for a wash.
