July ATC - 'Trinkets and Treasures'

Hi there and welcome to the Dusty Attic blog. Today I'm sharing my July 'Trinkets and Treasures ATC.... 'Free-hearted'.
 We all must treasure the Heart!
I have also included a 'How to Tutorial' for those of you who may wish to give a few different techniques a try. If so....happy creating!

Rose Heart ATC Tutorial.

Dusty Attic products:



To make the heart I have used one of the hearts from the Lace border for the base. This provides the perfect shape and size for the ATC.
 Paint the heart with Alabaster/white paint.
Glue a combination of both 1cm and 1.5cm sized roses onto heart.
'Glue a little Trinket to the bottom'

Crackled Vintage look frame and wings.

Firstly ink the frame and wings with pinecone (dark brown) and Olive.
While ink is wet then coat with Tim Holtz crackle paint. (ink shall discolour paint).
Allow paint to dry and then re-ink which will then highlight the cracks.
Finish edges with Black ink (Stazon).
 If you don't have Tim Holtz crackle paint for the same effect try the....
