Hello everyone!
Here is my layout inspired by the stunning September mood board, and featuring
Dusty Attic chipboard pieces. For this layout, I used the Ingenue paper from the 49 and
Market Vintage Artistry Lilac collection.
This is my daughter during one of our many photo shoots a few years ago.
Here is the beautiful mood board.
To create more detail on the background I randomly stamped with a Music stamp, then I primed the background with clear gesso. To add more colour to the background, I used Distress Oxide in Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet, and Lindy's Tea Pot Purple. Then
I glued Tim Holtz tissue paper, butterflies from a serviette, and Vintage Artistry Butter/Lilac and Sky/Navy rub-ons.
All the chippies were first covered in white gesso.
The Music Hashtags words, mini scrolls, and ATC frame were heat embossed with white embossing powder. For the title, I used the mini tab Day Dreamer.
I glue words onto my flower clusters by first gluing them onto acetate, and then applying transparent matte gel to them.
The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms and die-cut foliage and flowers.
I coloured the lavender with Plum and dry brushed it with Wild Orchid and white acrylic paint.
The Wildflower was painted with Whispering Turquoise and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.
How beautiful are these new Botanic Buttons? I just love them! They were
coloured with Whispering Turquoise, and Wild Orchid then dry brushed with white
acrylic paint.
The Music Flourish and Music Notes were painted with Lamp Black.
Some close-ups.
The final touches to this layout included art beads, sequins, and splatters with diluted white gesso.
Dusty Attic products used.
