Lynette here, welcome to the blog today. I am sharing my take on the September mood board. I used a photo of my beautiful daughter taken on her wedding day.
The beautiful Moodboard:

I first prepared my background by applying distress inks in the complimentary colours along the edges of the white cardstock. I then matted the cardstock on a patterned paper.
I painted the lilies with acrylic paint and shaded it. When I wanted to add it to my page it was just too bright so I diluted white acrylic paint with water and gave the lilies and leaves a white wash to soften the colours.
I have started to hand stitch on my pages again and I love the texture that it adds. I added some white 49 and Market lilies and die cut foliage.
Lastly I added some soft blue pearls and two vellum butterflies. I love how a mood board can be used to make either a bright layout or a muted one, depending on your photos.
Why not enter the Mood Board challenge yourself? All you need to do is add your take of the challenge into the comments section on the Dusty FANattics Facebook page HERE for your chance to win one of two amazing $50 Credits to choose any. Good Luck and have fun creating.
