The perfect Day - Rikki G - Mood Board inspiration

Good morning how are you? Welcome to the New Year lets hope this year is every thing you want it to be and you achieve every thing you set your minds to.

Today I am here to share with you my take on this months stunning moodboard, its all about the ocean vibes and it works so well here in Australia as its summer.

To start off I wanted a texture that had a wave feel to it this is where the Dusty Attic Flourish Stencil comes into play with some texture paste.

Now once the texture paste is dry add the colour, I used a selection of Tim Holtz Oxides varying from Blueprint, Salty Ocean and even a little Walnut to add some of the browner tones.

Its just as simple as swiping the ink pads over the page and texture paste - kind of like its paint.

Now to blend out the harsher lines use a blending brush with a blue in through the Dusty Attic Ledger Stencil.

Now its time to foam mount the cut file over your background.

Add some fussy cutting over the top of the cut file.

Once you add your photo its all about all the Dusty Attic Chipboard elements, which I have just spray painted with a chalk based paint ..... it works exceptionally well with the deeper etched chipboard like the Rope Knot.

Finish off the layout with some rhinestones and Weather Icon chipboard.
