Good morning, well October is here and that means we get to play with another amazing Moodboard by Dusty Attic and this time it has all the feels with shades of Pinks.
Have you been playing along?
Why not give it a go, there's no right or wrong way to do a mood board so play along?
Starting off with the background.... deconstruct a bold wood panel, cut them on the join line and make sure you stack them in the order you cut. Grab a distress tool and rough up those edges.
Then reconstruct the panels- stick them down in the middle of each panel that way you can curl the edges when the panel meets to add more texture to the background.
Add the large Nuneka Moon around your 5x7 photo then you can start building your fussy cutting on and around the moon, don't be afraid to add some on the negative parts of your photos.
Continue the line of the moon.
Spray the chipboard and once it is dry sand the edges with a sanding block.
To draw your eye down the page, and to fill up the negative space that has been created to by placing the photo higher on the page.
Plus it creates space to add the title to the bottom of the photo and allow the fussy cutting to look its ''falling'' downwards.
Add feathers and chains to draw your eye along the lines of the wood panel.
Adding a small amount of brick work through the layout adds balance to the photo with the horizontal lines.
The negative part of the brick wall is amazing so use it all !!! Its getting two uses out of the one piece.
